Very comfortable apartment room, great for travelling with young children. Also great location close to everything. - Staff was pretty kind and helpful. Hotel itself has very good (central)location, parking facility under the hotel was a big advantage atarrival and departure, but also if you go there by car. Kitchenette waswell equipped.

Large room, very clean, nice view, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the airport. I called for the shuttle which took us directly to the hotel in less than 5 min. There is a bus stop just 1min away from the hotel which takes you directly to the city center. I just had an excellen^t experience. I did not have time to visit
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » the casino though. - Staff was extremely courteous and helpful (despite the fact that I arrived in the middle of the night) and the service is excellent (you even get a free Basle travel pass). Access to the nice, quiet and spacious business centre proved ideal for my needs. The hotel is not on the cheap side, but as it is 1st class throughout, value is outstanding.

Me and my wife really enjoyed staing in your hotel. The rooms are clean, furniture new. The breakfast and the restaurant were very good. And, of course, very professional and nice staff. Thank you! - The free travel card worked wonderfully. Restaurant was good. Parking garage very secure. Friendly, helpful staff.

Hotel was clean and modern with good sized rooms and excellent bathroom/shower. This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. It is about 20 minutes tram ride to Basel. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.

It was a fantastic stay with this Hostel..clean.. lovely food.. quit with excellent scenery out side and great atmosphere inside... I had my passport nicked while at a bathhouse. The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler.
The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch.
Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning.
Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.

This hotel offers excellent value, is in easy reach of the motorway and a lovely walk along the Rhine is only 5 mins away.
The staff were helpful and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. This hotel is a Social Enterprise with green credentials. I would highly recommend it for a 1/2 night stopover in Basel. -

Full marks for this one. It's not a five-star hotel but it doesn't need to be.
Location = perfect (two peaceful blocks out the backdoor of the SSB), there's an excellent COOP supermarket right next to the back exit of the SSB. Cleanliness = perfect (What you'd expect in Switzerland).

I recieved confirmation from letsbookhotel.com and the YMCA Hostel, Basel, each with different prices - 92 CHF and 99 CHF respectively. I paid the higher price, but difference was small so it didn't matter much. Also, clearer directions to the hotel are needed on your web site - I would have liked turn-by-turn directions from the station. I wandered for 25 minutes before I finally found it..

The location was in the heart of Basil. The staff was extremly helpful - even recommending restaurants outside his hotel. - Very good location right next to the congress centre withreasonable price. Short walking distance to old town and/orfrequent trams to there. You get free public transportation ticketfor your stay. Free internet.

Highly recommended. Proximity to railway station a big plus. The hotel provides free a travel pass which can be used on the first class public transport system - and the airport bus. - Free transport tickets for use on trams and buses. Free soft drinks. The location was great. The shower was amazing and loved the robe and slippers.

My husband and I stayed only one night. The staff spoke English to us, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We were given excellent instructions to use the tram (our first time on a tram) to get to the old town shopping area.

Quiet hotel, really helpful reception staff. Excellent location for transport links. Breakfast is really good and worth paying extra for. Room was spotlessly clean. This hotel is superb value for money, especially given that Switzerland is generally very expensive.
