Great room - very cosy and warm with attractive furniture and the feel of staying in a friend's house, rather than an anonymous hotel room; a lovely place in which to relax. I slept so well in the large, comfy bed, and loved the cosy window seat overlooking the street below. Cute little shower room with Molton Brown goodies! Very friendly and helpful staff, and an absolutely fantastic location right next to the main Zurich train station. Will definitely book again and will recommend to others.

The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

The apartment is really central - walking distance from Bahnhof train station, a five minute tram ride from the zoo, two minutes walk from the river, five minutes walk from the lake, surrounded by lovely street cafés. The situation of the hotel, it was right in the old town and the variety of restaurants outstanding. Because it was in busy area due to shops and restaurants thought it was going to be noisy at night but that wasn't the case. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice very good. Easy walking distance to main station and the Zurich Lake. Ferries also very accessible. Very enjoyable stay.

The room was on the top floor with lovely beams - the room and bathroom was wonderfully clean and the bed very comfortable (although it was very firm). Very impressed with the hotel staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a cold buffet - plentiful and very tasty. -

Very convenient to the Hauptbahnhof and a short walk to the Bahnhofstrasse. Also close to the Niederdorf without all of the noise. Our 4 nights there were great! - I liked my stay; good hotel, excellent location, clean room, very nice breakfast buffet.

- The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also.
- The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around.
- The room was clean.
- There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs.
- The staff were professional.
