Casa Aldomar is located in Xàtiva’s old town, 200 metres from La Seo Cathedral. It is a converted weaver’s house offering a roof terrace and stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rooms at the Aldomar feature whitewashed walls and terra cotta floors. They are equipped with air conditioning and heating, and they each have a private bathroom. Breakfast is served daily in the Casa Aldomar’s bright breakfast room. There is also a variety of good restaurants within 10 minutes’ walk of the hotel. Casa Aldomar has a library with board games and sofas, and there is also an interior courtyard with tables and chairs where you can sit and relax. Xàtiva Castle is a 15-minute walk from the Aldomar. You can reach the city of Valencia in 45 minutes by car.

This hotel is small but quaint and full of character. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate with a simplistic charm about them. Our room was decorated in a clean white with super Spanish style shutters on the small windows alongside modern minimalist furniture and terracotta tiled floors. Great showers by the way (by uk standards !) Upon arrival we were greeted by Ian (who runs the hotel and luckily for us was English) who met us on the main street in Xativa as we couldn't find it on arriv.
όλα τα σχόλια » The location of this hotel is perfect for the parts of the city that matter. It is nestled in a small side street within the lovely 'old town' where it is just a short walk from restaurants and cathedral. The hotel has a great amount of space considering its size, there are 2 roof terraces where either a spot of afternoon sunbathing is possible or a drink in the evening to see the city light up at night. We found the manager / owner extremely helpful and friendly with great knowledge of the sur. Well looked after by the owner who took special care of me when I arrived soaking wet having been in a cloudburst while walking to Xativa. The house is extremely tasteful and restful. Well appointed and in a great location. The owner provided details of a walking tour (with details of the varioous places) in this historic town. He also gave great recommendations for meals. Casa Aldomar is a lovely, small hotel in the narrow streets of the town. The rooms were delightful and Ian's hospitality made our stay an absolute pleasure. We would highly recommend spending a few days at Casa Aldomar and xativa is such an old and interesting historic town with an amazing castle. The hotel is a very nicely redone house from 1870. Excellent ambience as the house comes with beautiful terraces with views of the impressive castle in the hills above. The hosts are very helpful and are knowledgeable about the history and important sites in Xativa. Excellent location and very welcoming. The guy was very helpful and gave us a couple of great walks and suggestions for food. Best for couples. Lovely breakfast. Views from the roof terrace were stunning. Right in the centre of the old town. The staff could not have been more helpful giving us advice on what to do and where to go. The hotel was in a very quiet part of the old town and the breakfast was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Prachtig opgeknapt huis in de oude binnenstad. Je loopt zo de stad in. Mooi ingericht. Zeer aardige service en heerlijk ontbijt. Auto kan in de buurt gratis geparkeerd worden. Helpfull hosts, they have hiking- and sightseeingtour tips and for restaurants as well. (Be aware that in november most of it is closed. ). Beautifully restored old townhouse.Proprietors very friendly and helpful.Excellent continental b/fast.Very good location.No complaints. Ideally located for the cathedral and market. Staff helpful & friendly. Interesting old Spanish house with sunny terraces. Clean room, lovely breakfast, friendly informative staff, nice rooftop terrace great views. Quality fittings and food. 2 lovely terraces. Owners verf helpfull and friendly. Location, decor, helpfulness. being in the old town. Finding the hotel is difficult unless you follow the clear instructions issued by the hotel. (Which we didn't which was our own fault - which lost us an hour) Before we rang Ian at the hotel - we tried finding it by asking some of the Spanish locals but it foxed a whole army of local shop keepers who were actually only a few streets away !. Don't put Bosch 11 in your Sat Nav whatever you do !. Follow the hotels own arrival instructions !. The only downside I could see about this hotel which really can't be helped is that parking is a few minutes walk away and is road side parking so not always guaranteed a space. The parking can be somewhat tricky as the house is located in a pedestrian only area of town. If you are driving be prepared with a raincoat or umbrella in case of inclement weather. Nothing we didn´t like. Wardrobe space was a bit limited. Good breakfast but some variation on a 3 day stay would be appreciated. Very steep stairs,no lift. No tv in the room but that didn't really matter!. Parking for your car. Nothing. no parking near by.
