The people who run the hotel were very helpful and pleasant . I wished that we could have stayed longer but our journey did not permit it - Location overlooking the sea and very near a lovely beach. Hotel staff were excellent.

simple - no problems. clean and cool (air con) - Only room was acceptable. Other things were not good even bad: smoking in the restaurant during breakfast, personal did not speak any language bicides spanish and etc.

The location even far from the center of Tarragona is great. It is located next to a LIDL supermarket and has plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Watch out for offers as you can save a lot. The staff was helpful enough. The toilet is pretty spacious (including bidet and bathtub). -

Staff were very helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage in the hotel both pre check-in and post check-out. Reception staff also very friendly and informative given our almost total lack of ability to speak Catalan! When we eventually found the hotel the location was exceptional. Despite hotel parking being full there is municipal carpark next to the hotel and the parking fee is subsidised by the hotel. 13 euros instead of 25 euros for 24 hour parking. The staff at the Hotel Urbis were welcoming, helpful and efficient. Our apartment was clean and well maintained and I cannot think of a better location within Tarragona; right in the heart of the old town but on a street so quiet that a restful vacation was had.
