Stayed in this charming hotel with excellent service for 11 nights. The hotel is at an ideal location, a five minute walk from the beach, the retail area, and the old walled part of the city. The rooms are modest but there is a great terrace off the fourth floor that offers one of the best views of the city.

The host. Lluis helped so much with everything that we had nothing to worry about. (Restraunts, sightseeing, directions, where to go, etc.)
Hotel location is very good, ~5 mins from the beach.
There is a really nice walking path up to the mountains, it takes 10-15 mins to get to wonderful views.
Parking helped a lot.
Terrace is really peaceful and nice.

We previously stayed at Casa Matilda for one night and liked Leo and Elena's hospitaliy so much that we returned for a three day stay this October (2013) with two of our friends. Leo and Alana were amazing hosts. We arrived on a holiday when local restaurants were closed. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Leo cheerfully carried all of our luggage up the steps. The room was a really a spacious suite and we had access to the roof garden, the previously mentioned living room, and the lobby. You will not find better hosts anywhere! Kim and Roser could not do more to help and make our stay special.
Local knowledge saved so much time, amazing cooking was beautifully prepared by Roser and dining outside in such lovely surrounds was a 5 star experience.
The house is stunning and unique. Boutique and such character.

New well appointed rooms, breakfast was good, choice of eggs, bacon and buffet. We chose to have dinner at the hotel, rabbit stew and flan were both excellent. Come prepared for outdoor activities, white water rafting trips are available nearby. Staff was very accomodating. -

The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no
small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am
and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our

La Rectoria is recently renovated by hosts Roy and Goretti. It retains its charm and history but is transformed into a comfortable and stylish retreat. We would have extended our stay if room had been available.
Roy is a very good chef offering a menu of the day.

Designed, spacious, thought of every detail, clean, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer.
Great place for couples or families.
Amazing view.
Very fair price. Absolute value for money.
We did not try the spa or food. We cooked in the room. There is a small grocery store in the village.
