  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... τι λέει ο κόσμος » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The hotel itself is a traditional Mallorcan house, developed such that it retains its character, while also being smart and modern. Excellent breakfast, and so good to be able to eat outside, if pre

  Loved the facilities at the hotel, the gym was great and in door pool jacuzi, steam and sauna, outdoor pool very cold but refreshing. We used the bike storage which was very secure and hired bikes at the port. We didnt eat at the hotel as we were self catering but it looked good quality food we just enjoyed walking into the port.   Our 7th or 8th visit. We love the Pollensa park. All friendly. Super food. Good rooms. Wonderful views. Pool area good to sunbath. Entertainments. Already wishing we were there again.   Even better than we had expected from seeing the web-site before we booked - really friendly staff, clean and bright accommodation, brilliant quiet location for the beach and then only a 20 minute walk to the port for some night-life. - We enjoyed the place a lot, nice beach, room, services.
