I liked how the room that I got was exactly what was shown in the
pictures on the web site. I also liked that the staff speak good English

I should say this is a perfect Hostal! Location is perfect, 5 minutes to
Sol station or Gran Via! Staff are sooo nice and helpful, giving me a
lot of advice and help me resolve the problem of travel adapter! And
also need to mention, the design and decoration of the room, surprised
and considerate and sweet! With the price and location, I do think this
Hostal deserves highly recommended.

Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection. Would definitely stay here again. -

First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport.

The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

This place is truly Home away from Home. The lady who runs the place is so nice, very friendly and keeps the place immaculate. The rooms with shower are nice and spacious with moder decor and the single room without shower where I was staying is very comfortable with fridge and microwave. Lovely family run hostal. The room was small, but we had a lovely large window with french doors, very clean, rooms cleaned daily, very quiet even though in the centre of the city right off Gran Via. Great location, close to public transport and walking distance of most major attractions. -

Friendly staff and centrally located,rooms were cleaned everyday. There was also a mini fridge in the room which i thought was really awesome,as many premises of that level don't seem to include such services.
