Very nice and familiar Hostel, simple and clean, there is no fuss or
'design' but all you need is sbsolutely there-you immediately
feel at home. Owners are friendly and preparé fabulous toast wirh jam
and butter - ask to replace the Butter with Oliveoil, it's a spanish
specialty how to have breakfast. Recomendable!

The pension is the perfect place to stay if you want to be right in the
center of valencia without spending too much money, the rooms are very
pretty and colorful, the equipment is basic but by far enough for a
night's sleep during your city trip, everything is perfectly clean,
2 bathrooms for 7 rooms are plenty and they get cleaned regularly and

highly recommend it. -
The hotel is family run, so everything is done with love. The rooms and premises are cleaned every day, the towels are also changed everyday. Currently the owners have further plans for development. The kitchen is already renovated, but not completely open for public (although we were allowed to use it).In the near future they plan to open a computer room. In general, our stay was very comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there.

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. Yes, the room was small but it was all you needed. Staff was very helpful. A free stubby of beer each on arrival. Didn't need anything else. The very chic and elegant room design made me feel like I was staying at a five-star hotel. The great staff service added to this impression. The location and price could not have been better- just a quick walk to awesome sites and restaurants, not to mention the train station. Staying at the Palacete certainly added to my wonderful experience

Id stayed here quite some month ago and the hotel was full of teething problems as only been open a few days. I then stayed again but was to soon to review it.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the decor is of a very high standard and all staff are more than helpfull.
The location is excellent and when ever i visit Valencia in future i would try and stay here.

The pension is located on a busy street just round the corner from the Valencia Nord railway station (3mins walk). The room was very clean and nice, with toilet and bathroom (separate), although they looked like being added as you had to climb up a step to got to the bathroom, but it was not a problem. Think if the hotel as an up scale Refugio like you would find on one of the Spanish hiking trails: small, shared rest room, dark. That said, the location us wonderful, good comfortable bed and working fan in room six. Nice towels and sheets. Super swift WiFe.

It is located in the center of the city, so it is definitely its
greatest advantage. Also, my room was more than decent - relatively
spacious, clean, with a nice bathroom and balcony...Plus, Jero, the
hostel owner, is a great guy, kind and helpful although he (like most of
other Spaniards) doesn't speak English.

The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

Staff was very friendly. By request, they gave us a kettle to boil water for tea in the room. The room was clean and well-equipped, with balcony. Location is good, in walking distance (20 min) from the train station and 30 min from the City of Sciences and Arts. We only used transportation to get to the airport. I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning.
All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so

and Lonja were all within walking distance.Their was an abundance of
