  The hotel is excellent. It has a prepared and kind staff. Its location was excellent for us because we were attending a conference in ccib. The beaches are near there and we just walk to them. The hotel is close to a metro station (it is easy to go to the town). There is an excellent cafeteria close to hotel, then we didn´t pay the breakfast in ho... τι λέει ο κόσμος » tel (we paid 2.50Euros in cafeteria for a coffee and toast with butter and jam). We certainly would wish to go back to the Diagonal Zero Hotel and rec - This hotel is in a good location for access to the Grand Prix circuit - on the outskirts of Barcelona, with easy access via metro to the centre and a walk across the road to a decent beach. Parking is good in the underground car park. The hotel is modern and reasonably well equipped - the rooms (lighting, heating) are 'run' by a software interface screen in each room. Our Exec room was large enough and well designed. The bar Tapas was pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  The location was brilliant - the best of both worlds, close to a great beach and just a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful, room wonderful with incredibly comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast.   We loved our stay at this Hotel Palace! Perfect, professional and very polite and helping staff. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and good view (standard). It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another signature before they could put the bags in the rooms. It was ridiculous since we

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city.
