  This was the most comfortable bed of our trip! I wish we could have packed it up and taken it with us... We only stayed here one night after arriving in Madrid at the very beginning of our trip.   The woman at the front desk was very nice and accomidating. The area was perfect. Shopping is wonderful if you walk around the area. The metro is literally a block away (which means a short 45 second walk). We found the area ideal, as we would hop on the metro and see all the sites.   Staff was helpful, smiley and made you feel welcome. The place was very clean and tidy all over and the decor was quite decent with nice design touches that made it feel fresh, simple and modern. My single room was just right and the shower room was nice and everything worked as it should.   Very nice friendly hostal in the great location of Huertas district in the center of Madrid. Everything is walking distance and at the same time there is no noise from the streets.
