This was the second time we stayed here and we will be staying there again in the Fall. Liked the bunk beds for the kids even though the ladder was a little hard to climb for my son.
Location is amazing and super close to Las Rambles, the market and tons of food options. Clean rooms. -

The cleanliness of the room and hotel were immaculate, and the location superb. The complimentary snacks which were replenished daily, was a nice touch. I traveled with my two adult children (21 & 22) and we had two
rooms. Location!!! Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from
La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything.
The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas
as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were
quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5
hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket.
The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped.

Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side
street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed
wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and
recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and
attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and
about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We
didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold)
but it did look tiny.

The hotel is central, easy to find, close to the Catalonia Square where you catch all the buses and metro line. We had a very warm greeting as soon as we entered the Hotel, from Alex. Although in travelling, my expectations do not include that everyone speaks English; but, your staff spoke it extremely well, which makes travelling so much easier. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the
Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic.
Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting

Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

Everything. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast had a wide variety of fresh food. The staff were very helpful in giving information about the city. we used the spa and sauna which was very nice. - The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, they recommended a place to eat nearby and we found it to be excellent.
