I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean

This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. My friends and I got a really home away from home feeling. The apartments we booked were totally 5 star quality: clean, well-designed and quiet. Big flat screen tv showing many tv channels including CNN, BBC and Sony movie channel. The kitchen is complete and the bathroom is very modern and clean. N

We have a family of four (two teens) and had a terrible time finding a hotel or anything with appropriate bedding arrangements. No only did we have two very nice bedrooms, but it had a lovely kitchen and living area. A balcony overlooked the street. The building is nearly sound proof to the city traffic.

A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -

Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. where to start, awesome staff that are only to happy to help you with whatever questions you may have, the hostel feels more like your just chilling out at home relaxing after a big day out walking around barcelona and with the new decking out the back of the hostel it is a great place to meet other people/read/relax. location in upper market locat

I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and
welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one
and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that
is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!!

Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.

Great location in Gracia, a bit away from the very touristy areas (like La Rambla), but well-connected with metro and buses. Clean throughout and a lovely terrace, and as we visited in the off-season it felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves, as it was very quiet.
