Excellent location close to the city center and major attractions, about
20 minutes of walking to Placa de Catalunya or 3 minutes by metro ( red
line metro station Marina is close by). Very attentive and friendly

- the appartment was huge. We were only 3 but we got 6 beds!
- the appartment was comfortable and clean.
- the staff was great : friendly and helpful are 2 adjectives which described them perfectly.

- BarcelonaGo is well positionned : 5 min from the city center and also 5 min from parc gruell.

This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. Standing room only on balcony overlooking the street - very sweet - felt like a local. Close the shutters and sliding door at night time to cut out any street noise. It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

The atmosphere was really relaxed with a lot of added extras like the user of the internet facilities included in the price. The dining area with the facilities to make coffee and tea made you feel welcome. The staff was helpful and friendly. - Central location but difficult to find.

The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea
