I like Akira Flats since the beginning because after booking we received
an email from the owner with a complete guide of information about the

There are ample beds - 7 in total in 4 rooms.
The apartment is within short walking distance to Marina and Monumental metro station. Even we managed to walk to Placa de Catalunya where we catch the Aerobus to the airport.
Facilities are complete and working perfectly, with adequate towels provided daily.

The staff Was supernice we could leave our luggage there, I could print train and bus tickets for free. Two of our friends came a bit later however it Was no problem they could do the checking one day later. Fresh towels everyday and the infobook in the appartment is very useful too!!

Excellent location close to the city center and major attractions, about
20 minutes of walking to Placa de Catalunya or 3 minutes by metro ( red
line metro station Marina is close by). Very attentive and friendly
staff, helps with all the major questions. Great breakfast for eur 6,

Everything sas perfect :
- the appartment was huge. We were only 3 but we got 6 beds!
- the appartment was comfortable and clean.
- the staff was great : friendly and helpful are 2 adjectives which described them perfectly.
- the breakfast was gréât.
- BarcelonaGo is well positionned : 5 min from the city center and also 5 min from parc gruell.

Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. We arrived earlier than check in time so they met us earlier and as our flight was not until 6.30pm, we were allowed to stay at the apartment until 4pm at no extra cost.
