We stayed in the top floor three bedroom and loved the apt with terrace. The apartment was in a fantastic location and was very well appointed. It was very roomy for five people and the staff was helpful. My only small complaint is the street noise which was present throughout the night and could not be blocked. Of course this is the price you pay for such a convenient location on a big city, but if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Otherwise a fantastic choice.

Decor, staff, location - The location is superb and looking across from our balcony at Gaudi's Casa Batlló every day was wonderful and awe inspiring. There was a lovely, relaxed, friendly vibe about the hotel and all requests were met with quiet efficiency and helpfullness. The double shower was great and the complimentary toiletries were lovely. Everything! Just an ideal location, 5 minutes away from the main walking area of the city (Ramblas, Barri Gothic), and connected to almost every location of the city with a direct metro line having the metro station just a few steps away from the hotel entrance! Walking distance to main places of interest in the center. Decor was extravagent pseudo Baroque but a pleasant change from the usual bland modern hotel. The free 24 hour self service buffet was basic but excellent value for money, saving a fortune in coffees and snacks out.

Location is good for tourism. Metro station and bus stations are near by. 24 hours grocery store open is a block away. The apartment is neat and clean. Its cleaned daily. For those liking to trek, the location is good too, for all the major tourisitic sites are at walking distance. The staff is good. Parking is available at the hotel for 25 euros

A few minutes away from the shopping district, city tour buses, and the green line subway that gave easy cheap access to the beaches and the Forum shopping Mall. The apartment was modern, spacious and clean. It was very well equipped with all kitchen electronics and dishes we needed. The washing machine-dryer was very useful. The apartment location was excellent. We walked to most places, but it is also easy to get taxis and metro station is very close. There are a lot of small shops around for groceries -

I liked the fact that Angla almost operates on anti-hype. Everything
about the apartment was better than the very correct, agreeably modest
descriptions on the net. Whoever designed the flat we stayed in had
terrific taste and picked the very best of everything, from the towels
to the porcelain china plates. The interior was sober, modern and
elegant. And we liked the staff tremendously. Nicholas, on reception,
was helpful and humorous and helped make our stay so great. The
location is perfect,

Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.
