Location was great - in the historic city centre, you can enjoy a walk to many places of interest. Opera metro station is just 1 minute from hostel. 24 hours supermarket is almost next door. My window was on pedestrian street Arenal, where people are walking all night long, but it wasn't noisy, I easily fell asleep (with closed window). Very safe district of Madrid. We enjoyed our stay in Madrid!
The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love.
It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance.

We made a booking for 2 nights and got a good room that was to the inside of building.
There were 2 head boards, which showed that the 3rd bed was just makeshift.
But we had adequate space and ample light, so I'm not complaining.

This is rather a 3 star hotel not just a hostel - the rooms are small but are really cosy and comfortable; the furniture is new and there is enough place to put all your the baggage; it was extremely clean (we had our room cleaned every day); there`s free wi-fi which is fast; the personal speaks English which is quite an advantage in Spain; location - perfect - 2 mins to Gran Via and not more than 20 mins to Puerta del Sol and at the same time it was not noisy at all.
