we booked 2 rooms, requested for extra bed. we found the 2 room are separate when we check in, the aunt gave us the 3 bedrooms sweet house, with kitchen and living room with reasonable price!

Amazing garden. As vegetarians, we received a truly superior breakfast by the fireplace. Room was spacious. Town of Swellendam is nice and feels safe. Superb hospitality. The owner (Fienie) was exceptionally helpful and affable. Quality of decor, design and location superb. Easy walking distance to good restaurants. Fabulous views and superb breakfast. The muffins for the road when leaving was a lovely touch. Cannot fault this establishment. It should be a 5 *.

The staff was totally friendly, they gave us a lot of tips what to do and were to go for diner. we could use any kitchen facilities to prepare our own diner on the terrace and the pool as well as the whole garden is absolutely beautiful!

We really enjoyed the attention to detail. It was a cold night when we stayed over and to our wonderful surprise we discovered that there were electric blankets on the bed and these were turned on for us in anticipation of us returning to the B&B from dinner. The breakfast was also wonderful and we really felt at home.

The friendliness of the staff was great. Owner Fiona was over the top. We were the only guest for the night so she gave us the pick of the rooms. Thought we would like the Honeymoon suite. Lovely, large, separate bath and shower. The breakfast spread for only two guests was unbelievable. We would go back for sure on next trip. -

Stayed at the cottage, it was so beautiful, quite magical. A beautiful

The service we received at Arumvale was really unmatched! We made our booking at the very last minute, and were quite unsure of where we were going and boy were we pleasantly surprised!
The owner and his family did not just go the extra mile for us, they went the extra ten miles!
We recommend Arumvale unreservedly and are so thankful to have ended up there. We will definitely be back.
