The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done. Beautiful scenery, great location and nice and quiet. -

After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. A really

Outstanding. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me
medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a
blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get
there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on
site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

Loved our courtyard flat with the facility to sit outside and totally relax. Breakfasts were varied and well cooked and presented. We had been several times to the EEndracht locally but they were overpriced, and their breakfasts were not memorable, and we were slightly apprehensive as to what we might expect. Beautifully appointed, quiet, wonderfully helpful staff, lovely rooms, all comforts available. Situated in university town of Stellenbosch in quiet road. An excellent stay, good value for money and I will stay there again. Highly recommended to anyone travelling to Stellenbosch for sightseeing, or business.

Loved everything from the location to the accommodation to the friendliness of the staff. The best and my favorite was the wine tasting. Totally enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go there again. -
We had an excellent experience. Staff went out of their way to make us fell welcome and to accomodate our 1 year old baby.

Since the hotel was not fully booked, they uprgraded us and we had a
very large and nice room. The value for the money is really outstanding
(and includes free secured care park) also the staff was nice and
offered their support to book the visit for the most famous wineries in
Stellenbosch. Definitely the best place win which we stayed in our 2

We had an upstairs loft type room, it was very cute, lovely free standing bath, also had shower, quiet location yet mins to university. Walking distance to town.
Great breakfasts, clean, parking, info on activities around Stellenbosch.
We really loved the room and enjoyed our stay.

Loved the pool and pool deck, my upstairs room with the beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains, the large shower, the complimentary sherry in the room (didn't last long!) and -mostly- Forest, the gorgeous Great Dane, a real gentle giant of a dog. - The staff is very friendly and there's an excellent service. It offered very good value for money and since we we going to a
wedding and only going to be arriving late and night and leaving early
the next morning, we did not need all the bells and whistles. So, for
us it ticked all the boxes - convenient, comfortable, well located,
well priced. Most important question of all: Would you go back ? The

We booked very short notice. Still this was no problem.
Amazing breakfast.
Very nice and comfortable rooms.
Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings.
Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see.
Situated in lovely countryside between the mountains.

What's not to like?
The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side.
Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm.
Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.

Everything about the guest house was great. The apartment I had booked was so cosy and the service was superb. I have been recommending the place to friends since my return home. I am definately staying there again when next I go to Stellenbosch. -

The place is fabulous. The setting is beautiful, it is clean, wonderful
views, quiet and relaxing. It is close to other beautiful wine estates,
with very good restaurants, not far from Cape Town if you want to go to
