The hosts Gavin and Jenny were fabulous. They made us feel so welcome and at home. They and their staff are very professional in what they do. The quality of the food, breakfast and dinner, was very good. This is really a beautiful place to stay. the gardens are very luscious and green. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with lovely beds. -

Hospitality is great. Wendy and Tony and their staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The bed was very comfortable. I had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed their prolific garden. The breakfast was enjoyable and well served.

My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.

The Staff is friendly and very professional! The service was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere.... I would definately book at the hotel again as well as refer people to book there....

The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us to a lovely room with crisp white linen, tastefully decorated and very reasonably priced for the location! I erroneously left my wallet in the room that I had booked in. I immediately received a call advising me of the misplaced wallet. I received everything in good order, nobody had tampered with the contents. I'm still highly appreciative of the staff for their efficiency and integrity! I also highly appreciated the buffett at Saffron Restaurant!

the staff was exceptionally friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. the rooms are spacious and the bed are really comfortable. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and we can safely say all the meals were gourmet meals which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Gateway holiday for a wonderful stay -
