  Very good location, friendly welcome. The hotel is a boutique hotel and far away in many ways from any 5* Hotel in Gauteng. Yes, the rooms are decorated, but slightly over done, a more subtle deco would do much better and reach more people! The light mechanisms is a pur night mare, dimmer and not even the staff knew how to operate! The bed was gre... τι λέει ο κόσμος » at so! - We arrived quite late, but Ernesto was very friendly and had everything ready for us. Our room and bathroom was clean, housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. The blackout curtains were appreciated! Even though we were next to diningroom we did not hear any noise. Coffee machine in diningroom was great.

  There have been many renovations since last staying there - including maintenance of the bathrooms and freshly painted and decorated walls. The rooms are always extremely clean and the staff superb. Along with that, the Manhattan Hotel has the best buffet breakfast of any of the Pretoria hotels I have stayed in (with exception to the Sheraton- ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » but that comes at a price!). - Staff were very helpful and efficient. Shuttle bus available for various transfers and journeys. Location was next to Gautrain station which was really convenient. The area outside and around the hotel was a busy urban setting but felt safe and the access to shops, museums and parks was straightforward and involved short walks.
