The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

I have stayed for over a month, and have extended my stay for two months more. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. clean facilities, comfortable beds, hot and clean showers and toilets, amazing chill out pool area, nice bar!!!
Easy walk into town and waterfront! Peaceful and quiet surroundings, but literally a minute walk to bars and restaurants

I loved the staff, they were all friendly and helpful :) The backpackers is located very well, very close to all amneties. I met great friends in my dorm, they were very considerate and great to hang with:) I will recommend the place to anyone visiting Cape Town. It was a great place and lovely vibe.

Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners, great room and lots of attention to detail. Also has a homely feel, instead of clinical hotel. Everything I needed and more. Thanks!

The Staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. At the time my husband fell ill and we couldn't go for breakfast, they were most kind to go and fetch us breakfast and bring it to our Room. It is minutes away (walking) from downtown Cape Town and a 20 minute taxi ride from beautiful Table Mountain, which you have an amazing view of from the hotel itself. There is an open plain bath tub in the executive rooms. That's one of the reasons why I come back to this hotel regularly.

I was very much satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I got an outstanding service, the place is very much comfortable. i was very much impressed by the fact that i paid for my internet access voucher for wireless, but when they found out that the server was done, i was kindly refunded.
