Located on the banks of the Crocodile River, the Kruger View, Lodge for Backpackers features panoramic views of the Kruger National Park. It offers a range of air-conditioned accommodation and a pool surrounded by a garden.
Each room is simply decorated and offers views over the garden. All the units are equipped with a private bathroom, including either a bath tub or a shower.
Guests can order á la carte breakfast at the Kruger View Lodge. Traditional braai South African barbecue facilities are available for the common use.
The Kruger View has a large common living area were guests can enjoy table games or read a book. The staff can also help the guests to arrange a variety of activities, trips, and tours.
Kruger Park’s Crocodile Bridge Gate is only 5 minutes’ drive from the lodge. The border with Swaziland is only 45 minutes’ drive away and the access post to Mozambique is just a 5-minute drive away.

Very informal and comfortable setting. It feels like hanging out with the owners in their house :-). Not extremely luxurious, but excellent for self-catering, budget travelers, especially young people.

Good location, just 8km from Crocodile bridge from where you can see
alreadey a lot of animals. Design is natural, very arfican. Good place
to just sleep (you are the whole day in Kruger park anyway). If the
smoking doesn't bother you, you like swimming with the dogs or you
don't swmi at all, then very good place to stay.

The lodge could use some new pots and pans...
They did not have my booking from letsbookhotel.com. Fortunately they were not fully booked and could accommodate us.
The toilet in the room.
No towels.
There are three dogs from which one of them jumps to the pool if you
are swimming. So if you like swimming with dogs, then great, otherwise
the pool is useful. If you want to cook yourself you have to buy the
wood from the city, they don't provide you even with money. The
owner itself and sme guest are smoking in public areas. The some
doesn't come to room itself but if you are jot smoker then you
smell the stink always.
