The Yellowwood Lodge has beautiful gardens and nicely decorated rooms. It is in a quiet location and is a short walk to Knysna and Thesen Island. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All in all, everything was perfect! -

Spacious rooms, that are nicely designed, perfectly equipped and certainly meet four star standard. Very attentive housekeeping. You can enjoy the nice view on the beautiful lagoon from your balcony. At Candlewood Lodge we were provided with a beautifully furnished and clean room called Spray. Although the room did not offer a view of the Knysna Lagoon, it provided every mod con we could have wished for. We loved the fantastic views over the bay from our room. The guest house
is lovingly cared for by the owners Joyce and Graham. It is spotless.
Graham arranged a superb golf day for us at Perzula at special
discounted rates. We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave. We

Marvellous place. Another one reason to come back to Knysna, just to stay there. It's more, than just a hotel. The place not just to get the bed and breakfast, but to enjoy every minute. -

Reception staff extremely helpful, and although we had booked 'one room', all the 'rooms' are actually suites, and ours was in an annexe with its own patio leading down to the lake's edge. The restaurant was excellent, and the gardens were beautiful with two swimming pools. -

We really love everything about Augusta Bay Guest House - the location, the staff / services, comfort, cleanliness. Its modern and have free and stable wi-fi in the room, individual parking lot and really facing the head front. There's no elevator but the staff helped us to bring our luggages up, so it OK. I will definitely come back if I visit K

A lovely clean, spacious, luxurious guest house, with very comfortable rooms. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good for getting in and out of with mobility problems.
Staff were most welcoming when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfasts were excellent.
The location at the Heads is absolutely superb with an excellent restaurant only yards away.

I have never been so impressed with the staff, than I have with those at this hotel. They could not do enough to ensure that you had a great stay. One of our highlights of our trip to SA. A credit to the hotel.

It was worth paying a little extra for the Honeymoon Room. It was a beautiful, bright, modern, large room and the view of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon was outstanding. We had booked the honeymoon suite which was just as described. Large room, fabulous double rainshower plus bath. Good quality linens and towels. The view from the room was breathtaking. Vee is such a lovely person and really wants you to enjoy your stay. Great breakfasts too

An amazing boutique hotel located in the high hills above Knysna. A car is essential given the intimidating walk! The main building which is more than one hundred years old is a converted family house hence the very cosy atmosphere.
We had ocean view rooms but the view of the magnificent grounds, pool and gardens is equally good.

This beautiful boutique hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the knysna estuary. Our room was perfectly decorated with amazing views over the lagoon. The bathroom was very spacious. The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts and the staff were extermely friendly and helpful. The hotel has large and beautiful garden. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The location is wonderful, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect. The service is great - Our water was not very hot the first night (probably something i was not doing correctly) and they fixed it while we were out having breakfast. The spa right next door is a bonus and a must visit if you're having a relaxing weekend. -
