The whiteshark guesthouse is the most clean and comfortable place I have ever stayed in. Its perfectly situated for the whiteshark cage diving and has amazing views of both the sea and the local countryside. Its owner Rene is amazingly helpful and has a vast knowledge of the area, if you want to do something other than shark diving she is more than happy to arrange it for you. wonderful place to stay, would definitely go back.

The bathroom has a large bath, with romantic candles beside it. Breakfast in the restaurant opposite is also very good. Warm and friendly owner all to willing to go the extra mile to help out with everything, great local knowledge.Very tidy,comfortable and clean guest house with great facilities.located in walking distance to where the shark cage dive boats leave from the harbour. renee is an excellnt host.she worked very hard to get us on a shark trip even though the weather didnt cooperate.arranged an alternate date and provided transport from capetown.she is a lovely person and the guest house is a lovely place. will go back again. incredibly friendly staff who drove at 9 o'clock at night to rescue us from our rubbish satnav! Only one (to us) power adaptor in the room with multiple things to charge - perhaps have a few more in the rooms.. A nice touch we saw in a few B&B was having some drinks available in the kitchen with a book - nice helpful touch. Stayed in bottom-floor minor bedroom with no view. nothing. Windy Gainsbaai. The weather... but that's not controllable ;-). No complaints!. no mirror above wash basin to shave. would have liked a pool or outdoor hottub. Parking outside premises.

From Cape Town International Airport: • Take the N2 out of Cape Town over Sir Lowry’s Pass and Houwhoek pass. • Down the pass take the R43 turnoff to Hermanus. • Drive through Hermanus towards Standford. • Keep straight pass Standford do not turn off anywhere, till your reach Gansbaai. • Follow the main road in Gansbaai and at the fifth intersection turn right towards Kleinbaai and continue for about 2 km. • When entering Kleinbaai take the first turn off to the right into Perlemoen Street. • At the first intersection turn left into Geelbek Street, and directly on your right will be White Shark Guest house. • White Shark Guest House is approximately a 2-hour drive from Cape Town.
