Highly recommend! Gay friendly. The staff and owners were friendly and welcoming with much interaction at check in/check out. They provided us with recommendations for wine/cheese tasting tour and assisted us with making this booking. The room and bathroom was large, clean and well presented. Breakfast was tasty with a number of options to choose from. Easy walk into Franschhoek village. Everything! The place itself is stunning and offers privacy, relaxation and amazing views. The setting is luxurious and nothing is too much trouble, we were helped and given information on where to go that suited our tastes and was not jut repetitive tourist blurb. They are so close to town; we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you to all. X.

Line your stomach for wine tasting The Tram Wine Tasting a must!. We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Staff were great and the breakfast was very well received! Our six year old son loved the animals and also the water area. A very peaceful setting and a useful location for exploring the area. The staff was amazing during our stay and very helpful regarding the city attractions. The place is amazing with beautiful views to the mountains ans vineyards. Great dam to spend some free time. Access to extra blankets in winter. Bottled water available in rooms. TV was a bit small... Nothing I did not like . Would suggest stronger reading lamp in the room. Nothing. Availability of staff limited, but good service and advice when they were available. Leaving!. Interior of the rooms perhaps a bit on the older side but didn't bother us. Nothing. Attitude of owner and no sitting space if staying in owner's house. Upstairs Bedroom with downstairs bathroom. Bathroom- needed updating small tv. Having to check in by a certain time. Un friendly staff -the unit had electricity tripping problems, this fridge was broken, and the toilet cistern would not flush . When reporting this, the staff basically denied the problems and dismissed us. Breakfast was v disappointing. The shower was very tiny - old fashioned and had no curtain or door, although it was designed to have one. The towels were old and worn. There were no fans in the bedroom, although an air conditioner in the lounge area.
