The boutique-style rooms are decorated with a mix of antique and contemporary décor. They feature air conditioning, a satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast is served daily in the dining room or on the colonial terrace, overlooking the pool and the ocean. A selection of beers and beverages are available in the pub. Various restaurants, bars and eateries are within a 5-minute drive away.
Guests can sunbathe poolside or take a walk through the landscaped garden area. Suncoast Casino and Durban Beach are a 5-minute drive away, and uShaka Marine World is a 15-minute drive away.
Several sports venues such as Greyville Racecourse, Moses Mabhida Stadium and Kings Park Stadium are within a 10-minute drive away. King Shaka International Airport is a 25-minute drive away.

Is an oldish rambling property on a steep hill not too far from the
central beach area. Not the easiest place to find because the
authorities have changed the name of the street but worth finding.
Pleasant greeting and shown around the site efficiently. The rooms are
in an older style but kept clean and everything worked as it should. The
pool is not very large but clean and surprisingly warm. The ‘honesty’
bar was pleasant with a few interesting motoring books to read whilst

The place itself is hidden from the street - you wouldn't know
it's there. Once inside its like a secret garden. The whole place
has a lovely light and airy feel. The terrace is a great place to relax
over coffee, drinks or breakfast with views through the palms and trees
of the ocean. The rooms are lovely with luxurious touches and a small
private outdoor space. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly,
carrying our luggage to and from the car and making sure we had
everything we needed.
The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable with excellent bedlinen.
The attention to detail was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious with a superb selection. We occurred trouble with our car battery and the owner went out of his way to personally assist us to solve the problem. The staff is also very friendly with lots of personality. We will definitely return to this delightful Guest House. As seasoned travellers across the globe, we highly recommend Goble Palms.

Great breakfast with wide selection served on a veranda with lovely views. Attention to detail to make the stay enjoyable. Coffee/tea facilities with home made biscuits, liqueur, chocolates ,magazines, foam bath and soft bathrobes . A 'home" away from home with all the luxuries! As a seasoned traveller, I will highly recommend Goble Palms. A true "urban retreat"! .
Everything was super. The staff were always willing to help and were
friendly. The lodge is beautifully decorated and gives you a tranquil
feeling even though you are in the middle of a large suburb in Durban.
The lodge was close to restaurants, shops, the stadiums and beach. I
loved the experience of staying there and will definitely do so again as
long as it is under the current management/owners. We thank you for
a wonderful time.
Professional staff. Cleanliness. location were all superb on our first stay. We were in room No 2 which was sheer luxery. However we needed and extra day and so had to re-book this time was given room Number 19 for the same price. Although clean and tastefully decorated this room was tiny could barely swing a cat in. So all depending which room I get for next time will be deciding factor as to whether I stay there again or not.

Breakfast was good and eating it from the porch with the view of the ocean only made it better.
The small paths between buildings, with all the plants and trees, gave an almost idyllic feel to the place. If we are ever in Durban again, Goble Palms is where we'll stay.
I liked the way I was treated, and the facilities were more than adequate. I asked to be moved from room 17, due only, to an irregular internet connection needed for my work, this was expedited immediately and with grace! The breakfast was excellent as well.

We liked the garden setting, the view, comfortable bed, spacious bedrooms and lovely relaxing garden atmosphere and the good service received from the friendly helpful staff and Lionel and the full breakfast. Good value for money.

The very friendly, efficient and helpful staff, especially Vincent. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting, the view, the comfort but especially the Old English charm and hospitality, as well as the location. Couldn't ask for better.

This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at with friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, and a delicious breakfast all set in a beautifully decorated home, I highly recommend this B&B and hope to return soon.
I loved loved loved the decor. I loved how the rooms are not too close together, there was nice privacy. The complimentary drinks and biscuits were amazing. The gowns, the bath . . . . everything was just superb!!.

Old World charm. The house seems to date back to the 1900's with
high ceilings, lovely old wooden floors and rooms tastefully decorated.
Breakfast on the Colonial Verandah with a sea view was most pleasant.
Nice stay. Bedrooms are nicely decorated! Bath in bathroom was huge and so relaxing! Staff were very helpful, especially with our little kids and their needs. Would recommend a stay here.

Unfortunately the hot breakfast arrived stone cold. However this was
quickly put right and the food itself was good.
The owner or "boss" was distinctly less attentive and friendly than his lovely staff.

Nothing besides for the very tiny rooms on our second stay.
Pool could have been cleaner, but in all fairness the winds were very strong while we were there and hence a big amount of leaves fell from the trees.
The shower taps protruded quite far from the wall in relation to the shower spray nozzle, resulting in you had to stand close to the taps so as to get under the spray nozzle, so when you bend down to wash your feet you have to be careful so as not to knock your back on the protruding taps when you stand up. My wife knocked her back on the taps, and warned me to be careful when I showered.
