Hedge House was great beyond our expectations. Jan and her family and
staff (who are more like family) are all just wonderful- very helpful,
friendly, welcoming. The breakfasts were full, cooked to order, and
absolutely lovely and delicious- and different every day. The grounds
are green and gorgeous, looking up at Table Mountain in all it's
glory

My stay at Hedge House was brilliant. I was there for almost a week for a conference and to visit Cape Town.
Judy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process. She arrange my pick up from the airport and set me up since my arrival in the morning of the first day.
The room was brilliant, on a corner with great views, lots of space and a huge bathroom with shower and bath.
The stay the entire week was fabulous. Judy was really helpful all the time.

Tim was a great host; very helpful advice on where to eat, sites to see in Cape Town and the near-by Gardens, driving directions, etc. very personable. -
It's in a quiet location with a lovely garden and views. Good access to several attractions. Tim was an excellent host.

planning our holiday. Staff could not have been more helpful with
recommendations and answers to our every question. Carol, the owner is
personable and greeted us warmly on our arrival. She took the time to
get to know us and tell us a little about herself. Beautiful

transfers and even packed us a breakfast to go the morning we were
leaving since we had an early morning flight. The hotel was spotless
and the breakfasts were fantastic! We love the extra attention we get
from boutique hotels and this was did no disappoint. I state with my 3
adult children.

This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat. We had to leave early f

The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. They also have a good network of local experts if you are looking for a guide (ask for Domingo)

Everything was superb from the crisp white linen, scrumptious breakfasts, service was excellent and the staff were always willing to assist with restaurant choices etc.
Will definately recommend Wild Olive and the location could not have been better so close to Newlands Stadium, Cavendish Square and close to Constantia wine farms. -

I stayed in the 2 Bedroom apartement (Mandela Gold), with my mother and two sisters. This actually accomodates upto five people, so we would have a guest here and there. Location is great, it was easy to get to all the tourist attractions. I stayed here with my girlfriend, it was very comfortable, safe and value for money. It is indeed a home away from home. Nearby there is a local convinience store. You will need a car to get around usually 15min drive to waterfront, canal walk, cape town CBD, rhodhes memorial, etc Hashim will look after you, he is the manager.

I have stay at this hotel each year for a week for business. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

In a sentence, I really liked everything. Big room, very clean, lots of closet space. Very good common areas. Good breakfast. Safe neighborhood and private parking. But the best were the hosts. I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised.
