I liked the fact that the rooms are very clean.
The breakfast was most enjoyable with good staff.
The manager Hayley sorted out my room problem. I changed rooms 3 times. If my request was not available at time of booking I would have liked to be told that and I would have booked elsewhere. Instead I arrived and found that I could not have what

The mod hotel together with it's location and beautiful sea and mountain views and sunsets, the bar and restaurants with their efficient and friendly staff, safe undercover parking, close proximity to Cape Town's CBD. waterfront and Century City, and the luxurious Junior suite we chose for our three night stay. -Parking was clearly marked and in the basement of the building, very secure and free
-In general the hotel is very secure needing your room card to access elevators and so on

Everything. From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it.
When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.

La Savina was the best hotel I stayed in when I was in South Africa. La Savina is centrally located. 2 min walk to the Canel Walk. 10 min taxi ride to VA Waterfront, 20 mins to Camps Bay. Our hosts arranged that a requested wheelchair would be available from the time of our arrival from the airport. This made a big difference in our whole family being able to tour the Capetown area. That was very much appreciated!

Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.
