Tucked away on a private nature reserve in the Overberg region, boasting panoramic views of the Agulhas Plains, this guest house radiates a unique sense of tranquility.
Offering guests the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Farm 215 is surrounded by fynbos-covered mountains and rich flora. Start the day with a swim in the 25 metre pool. After breakfast you can either read a library book in one of the lounges or opt for a hike through the large reserve.
Each of the guest units is designed with sustainability in mind. Relax in front of your fireplace or soak up the sun on the wooden deck. Generous meals are prepared with organic ingredients and served either in the dining area overlooking Lake Kraaiboschdam or during a picnic.

Food & Drink
Meals are served in the dining area, adjacent to the homestead. Marvel at panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and Overberg Mountains. In between meals, you can help yourself to tea and coffee. Underfloor heating and 2 fireplaces make the dining area a cosy place in all seasons.
Information about the area
Focused on sustainable tourism, Farm 215 and the retreat is covered with unspoilt natural vegetation. Hike to the mountain area of the reserve and enjoy a swim in the dam.
Travelling information
By car:
- Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 in an easterly
direction (Somerset West).
- Cross Sir Lowry’s Pass (part of N2) and continue past Grabouw and
Elgin.
- Cross Houwhoek Pass (part of N2) and, at Bot Rivier, leave the N2.
- Take the Hermanus (R43) turn-off and drive through Hermanus.
- Continue on the R43.
- Twenty-five km after Hermanus you will see Stanford to your right.
- Continue another 20 km on the R43, until you reach Gansbaai.
- Drive through Gansbaai and continue on the R43.
- Pass Franskraal and turn left onto the gravel road, direction of
Elim/Baardskeerdersbos.
- Continue for approximately 10 km.
- Ignore the Avoka turn-off and turn left at the next turn-off.
- Pass a dam and vineyards to your left.
- At the end of the vineyards, you will see a brown tourism sign Farm
215.
- Turn left after the sign and follow this road for approximately 1 km
(look out for tortoises please).
- When you see a cottage on your left, turn right at the entrance just
after the cottage.
- Follow the road to the main house (keep left).

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children older than 12 years are welcome.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy
50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
