This B&B in the heart of the Addo Valley offers romantic accommodation on a working citrus farm. The surrounding garden has a swimming pool, and all rooms come with free Wi-Fi. The rooms at Happy Lands are decorated with natural and white wood, mosquito nets and soft fabrics. Each offers a private bathroom with a shower. A farmer’s breakfast is served daily on the garden-facing veranda. Dinner is available upon request. Happy lands Self Catering provides guests with laundry facilities and secure parking. The Addo Elephant Park is 20 km away. Tours to the citrus factory and game drives can be arranged by the owners.

We stayed in this B&B after having visited the Addo Elephant Park. Although we only booked a couple of hours ahead, everything was ready when we arrived (including dinner!). We got fresh lime-juice (so refreshing) and had a nice dinner on the patio with the other guests. It was really a great evening. Although the B&B was run by friends of the owner (owners were on holidays) – everything was perfect and we really felt like at home. We had good discussions and learnt a lot about oranges.

Very nice room, perfect bed and a nice breakfast served on the veranda overlooking the perfect kept garden. I can really recommend staying here, we got good info and help booking a very nice private game sightseeing (besides seeing Addo). Fantastic rural location. Our children loved the garden and the pool. The friends of the owner, running the place, were so friendly and nice. The breakfast was lovely and our two rooms were quaint. Also thanks for booking us a restaurant. Great hospitality. Active citrus farm. Lovely citrus welcome drink. Nice English garden and rooms. The hostess cooked a great dinner (bobotie). Location close to Addo Elephant park. The hosts Mike and Nita were so friendly that even though we only stayed one night we felt like family. A relaxing and beautiful location and we would happiliy have stayed longer. Location is great. Rooms are lovely, spacious en clean. Pwners are friendly and helpful. There were some issues with the wifi, but they let us borrow their Ipad. A very hospitable couple, made us feel at home. The farm was beautiful, lovely gardens, a wonderful place to relax. The room/cottage was cosy and comfortable. Beautiful B&B, very convenient for our trip to Addo Elephant Park. Breakfast was fantastic and the owners were very friendly. Will definitely be back!!!. I liked the friendly atmosphere, the wonderful garden and the breakfast on the terrace. A great place also for families. Lovely hosts, and an idyllic situation in the countryside. Convenient for Addo and the Cheetah Conservancy. Everything... Lovely Place, lovely People, lovely dogs, lovely Pool, lovely Roms = all!. Very friendly owners, really made us feel welcome. Stunning grounds and scenery. The friendliness of the host, the way we were made to feel at home. A very beautiful place to stay and visiting the Addo Elephant Park. Excellent B&B, great service and very friendly owners!. Mike and Nita were lovely hosts. warm and kindful hospitility. We loved the old homestead, beautiful gardens and friendly owners. Nita and Mike made us feel vey much at home and comfortable and fed us good, tasty home made food. Even the jam served at breakfast was home made!. Road to the B&B somehow not too easy to find…. -. We found it difficult to find as the sat nav and multimap don't recognise address, only a suggestion but maybe idea to include directions or grid co ordinates. However, locals pointed us in right direction. No airconditioning (there was a fan). Not sure about the open shower, but it was adequate. Quite isolated, but previous reviews had warned of this. The en suite wet room was exactly what it said - wet!. Nothing. A liitle off the beaten track if your time is limited.
