The staff were amazingly friendly, always ready for a pot of tea and a chat to keep up the spirits of a backpacker who is a little overwhelmed by his first time in Russia.
Would have gone insane without Una and Katrina!
Rooms are large, warm and very clean. Shower was hot and plenty of space to hang laundry!

Amazing new hostel in the center of Volgograd. Everything is clean, staff is friendly, helpful, kind, simply awesome (and English speaking). If you go to Volgograd, there is no other choice than Localhostel !.

no TV (i got used to watch TV a lot).
Overall cleanliness not in the best possible category, mainly the bathroom and toilet, but still clean enough, especially for Russian standards. Also, make sure to get directions as to how exactly to find the hostel as it's in one of the flats of hoses in a dark courtyard without any marking.
