We stayed for one night, in June and we received room number 3 – it
seems that we’ve been very lucky, as the room looked like a castle room,
with low painted ceiling and very old furniture, quite romantic, I would
say. The bed was a king size one and very comfortable. Even if the
room’s windows were opening right in the middle of the square, once we
closed them, the noise stopped. The bathroom was not extremely well
maintained, a light ball was broken but it’s a 3 stars pension though.

Location couldn't have been better. Very Large room with windows opening out into the central square. Modern bathroom - great shower. Comfortable bed. Excellent evening meal. possibility of sitting in square to eat. Convenient location for visiting Biertan and other fortified churches. Only minor problem was that one small window was without curtain, so light came in.
Excellent, comfortable, friendly hotel in perfect, prime position right at the centre of Sighisoara's small, medieval citadel. Excellent rooms, many are large and many have bathtubs (ours did). Authentic furniture, architecture and vaulted ceilings in best rooms. Friendly staff.
The room was beautiful, all beams & old wood furniture with a balcony overlooking the Citadel. The staff were friendly, polite & efficient. The hotel had a beer terrace & front tables on the Piata. Nothing was too much trouble for them. excellent staff.
Perfect location, very friendly staff, great breakfast. The room was more like a whole apartment with 2 rooms, a corridor and a huge bathroom with a corner bath ;-) And all this right in the centre, a few steps away from most sights! Loved it!!!.
Everything!!!! The location is perfect, the rooms are
extraordinary!!!!! Staff is very friendly. I would definitely go back
again and recommend to anybody that what's to get a grip of
medieval living. Room 116 rulles.
Wonderful location, friendly and un-pompous reception (a rarity!), romantic and tasteful decor, large comfortable beds, basin plug-hole that worked (a first in Central Europe!), quiet and clean.
Perfect setting in gorgeous Sighisoara. Staff was very helpful. I wouldn't call it budget, but it was a good hotel for the cheapest rate we found on the square.
Inside the Citadel and right on the plaza - beautiful location and wonderful old building. Lots of food options nearby and great area for walking.
location was lovely, the room was the biggest I ever was in; 2 adults and one 8 years old child. Friendly staff, clean. I will return!.
Excellent location in the old historic town, roomy and clean accommodations, helpful staff. Breakfast was good.
- The room was huge
- Great view
- Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us.
The location in the center of the citadel, the authenticity of the building and rooms. Good breakfast.
Wonderful house in the castle district of Sighisoara. I would certainly recommend this place.
There was plenty of space in the room and the location right on the square was perfect.
Clean room, pretty good breakfast.
The hotel is in the centre of the citadel.
Excellent location, extra large rooms, nice design in Transilvania style.
Hotel is in a great location on the most important square in Sighisoara.
Its's location is excellent.
Staff friendly, understanding and helpful.
Room is decorated, spacious room, perfect location, clean rooms.
Personal room, good location, friendly service, good breakfast.
Nicely decorated rooms, nice staff, good food.
Terrific location and nice quiet terrace.
Staff is very freindly.
Location.
Good location. Old furniture with a lot of character.
Good Location, nice people, big rooms.
Very good location in the heart of the old town. Beautiful old house. Parking slots right infornt of the hotel (not secured).
Location.
good location.
Fridges installed in rooms (humming at night) but not stocked with drinks as minibars should be. Chaotic arrangement at reception for leaving luggage after check-out, meant my luggage disappeared with another group - fortunately recovered later!.
I would have liked a choice of breakfast menu.A full Romanian buffet plate is too much for me. Toast would have been fine.
Fittings a bit shakey: no light over the washbasin, our friends' curtain rail fell off the wall. We had to fight for our breakfast at the breakfast bar, but won through in the end.
Bed wasn't great, but ok. Same for the wifi.
nothing....
- Breakfast was average (it was good but basic).
There was no lift and no assistance provided to take luggage up the stairs.
The staff looked pretty bored, but I can't blame them. We visited on a Monday during the winter.
Parking slots not available for guests, left car at public parking, more then 30 minutes lost for finding.
It felt like the hotel was closed - dining room not open though
they brought us breakfast which was included. We may have been the
only guests.
No bar in the hotel.
Access to rooms is via the restaurant.
The way to the room is problematic, The hot water in the shower making problem and Very poor breakfast.
Big groups having breakfast all at the same time, wake up early or go late to avoid crowd.
The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, and if you leave the car
in front, you might get an invite from the local police to go to them,
otherwise they will fine you.
Lack of parking in the area, as it is a heritage site...not the hotel's fault.
Breakfast was simply aughful. Staff was friendly, but largely useless. Staircases and corridors impractical.
No parking facilities.
breakfast is bad, illumination is very poor, it was very noisy.
Poor design of an otherwise very spacious room. Bathroom facilities a bit old and not clean enough, toilet flush not working properly. Relatively poor breakfast. People screaming at 7 a.m.
Room one was abysmal. Above a noisy kitchen that didn't close until
11pm and opened at seven. The manager, gina, ignored me in front of the
receptionist when I attempted to complain. Shocking.
The rooms were not ready even after 14:00. The furniture is old and while people would like antiques i am sure that they would not like a bad smelling one.
The room was in a different building than what we saw in the hotel photos when we ordered.
Room was very uncomfortable, very very old, dusty and not clean, looking more like a dormitory than a hotel room. Staff was unkind and breakfast very poor.
