If you want to go back in time, visit Villa Retezat (B&B). A very nice authentic building, almost everything is original. Really friendly staff. Good breakfast and silence all over...Parking in front of the hotel and some good restaurants around the corner. -

Very nice, charming apartment with everything you need. The beds are comfortables and everything was clean.Very good location. The internet is extremely fast - better than any hotel we've been to. We felt like home and we recommend it!

It is perfect for families (cooking facilities as well as cooking utensils included) or groups of friends. All rooms include a large living room plus kitchen, even the double rooms for 2 persons, it is great for groups or families. the apartment was big and tidy with all the cooking facilities needed, so even though the price is higher than the other hotels in the area, we managed to stay withing the budged as we cooked for ourselve instead of going each time to the local restaurants. they also have a nice barbeque and a terrace and the staff provides all you need to start the fire.it was an excellent stay and we thank you

We come to this hotel again and again. Beautifull small place in mountains. Next to Orthodox monastery and Peles castle. Stayed here in winter and summer. There are rooms with kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast (several choices) which can be served in a room for no extra cost. Friendly staff Quite new.

Central location, reliable wi-fi, helpful staff, good sized room and surprisingly quiet despite being so central.
Breakfast had a decent choice of hot/cold items.
Parking was available at all times in front of hotel - even if it couldn't be reserved. -

The place was beyond our expectations, we got everything we needed and
more. The rooms are very spacious, with all the details thought of, the
kitchen was super, we even had a mixer and a dish-washer, but the staff
told us that we don't even have to do the dishes, the wonderful
cleaning lady did that every day. They even supplied us with clothes

I enjoyed everything: great location among Carpathian mountains, great staff (very friendly, English speaking), excellent apartments: clean, convenient and large enough for the middle-size family (probably the best I've ever seen in Romania). The price was surprisingly low for such luxuries, Visa/MasterCard was accepted. Convenient parking.
Overall, this is probably the best hotel I've seen in Romania. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The hotel is located in the city-center. Receptionist was very friendly and responded promptly to all inquiries. The hotel room was clean, airy, well equipped and well soundproofed. The bathroom was clean, with tub shower and well equipped, including hairdryer and, upon request, with a razor. Price / quality ratio very good. -
