  Everybody was very polite.Everywhere was clean - in the room, in the restaurant...All (receptionists, waiters, la femme de chambre) speak English,we do not know Romanian,that is why it was very important for us.It was easy and pleasant to communicate with these nice people. - The location was fantastic.   The hotel is in downtown Constanta, very close to the seaside, old town and old port but Mamaia beaches are also very easily accessible from here. The hotel was comfortable and staff are very kind, too. The hotel is located next to a main road and we were afraid that traffic noise would be disturbing but this was not the case fortunately. We really liked the toiletries ( shower gel, shampoo, body lotion). Breakfast is also not bad and more than enough even though you have to leave the building and go next door to a cafe.   Hotel Carol is my super-favourite of hotels. The price-quality is the best I have ever experienced, very friendly and helpful staff and a superb breakfast in a very charming building.   I have stayed there 2 times now and found it to be a very good. the Staff were friendly and could not help any more then they did . they also made me feel welcome - Comfortable rooms, good food, friendly staff and a good location of the hotel. Everything was very clean and the rooms are spacious. Can't wait to return!
