The diner specialises in buffalo wings, pork ribs and beef burgers. The bar features a pool table and a wide range of local beers. All rooms are heated, and include a safety deposit box. Some rooms also have a private bathroom with a spa bath.

Called ahead as we were arriving after check in. Owner said it would be fine but warned us that Friday and Saturday nights are loud due to the bar. Free WiFi. Very friendly staff. Owner called us a taxi on checkout and got us the cheapest firm. Was great for what we wanted. We were just 2 friends who wanted to have a few drinks, a spa and crash for the night. Prefect for young people who dont mind the noise, and want a good night. The room was clean and the staff were really lovely.
όλα τα σχόλια » Very good location, just a few minutes from the CBD. Staff's pretty awesome. Were there in Winter druing the week, not that much going on. Still be back for the summer sometime!. We liked the whole "friendly" and casual feeling which comes out of this saloon-like backpackers. We would eventually come again if we need to. was alright, expected a big party tho but it was as silent as hell.. took a bus to downtown for 1.8$ and smashed it there. The staff were very friendly esp the Scottish girl who was lovely. I loved the spa in the room. The food was great. Friendly staff Great bar Great room with spa bath Location **** Free Parking ****. Excellent value friendly staff... good to see they support live music. Staff were friendly and helpful, definitely would stay again. the staff were amazing deffinatly made the trip memorable. Friendly environment, free mechanical bull,. Every staff was nice polite also friendly. Value 4 money. The manager shane was friendly made an effort to come and speak to us! gave us information of stuff to do and clubs to go to. the free wifi was also a good bonus. Good location with downtown Auckland proximity. Staff was welcoming. Shower plenty big for a comfortable shower. Parking behind gate at venue seems safe. Shane, the owner, was incredibly personable, friendly, and accommodating. We had room with shower. It is more bar then hostel. Only for "party-loving-people". The staff is friendly. dirty. location not good. not even morning-coffee available. take a hostel in the center!. not the cleanest, but ok for a nights sleep. bed sheets were clean. Not the best location but only half hour walk to city. No lock on toilet. Bad luck, we came just before a huge party began, and we were really tired, so we had some difficulties to find some rest. Plus we wanted to get up early too, but nobody was there, so we had to get back later in the day to give the keys back. advertised as a party hostel.. got quite disappointed that me and my colleague were almost the only people in a hostel.. there are apparently parties there but only if they are pre booked like someones 21st bday, but I have no idea how you can enter it.. as a stranger only :). No toilet in the room and the latch on the shared toilet door was broken. Possible tv in private rooms tea / coffee facilities once the bar had closed & staff left for the night would be idea.we couldnt stay longer. Unfortunately the people in our room let the place down for us, which of course was not the places fault. the room is o a terrace which made it easy for people to jump through the window.... Thankfully he was staying with us, but later got chucked out. Accomodation is not open for early check-in, as it is simply a few rooms located above a restaurant/bar. WiFi speed very slow. The bed was quite uncomfortable (springs very evident). Pocket door to toilet did not lock. Shower did not have hot water until 0600, so plan accordingly! Lastly, parking is scarce, and may be tricky with larger vehicles. Shooters is more of a bar than a hotel, and often hosts events. Shane let us know this upfront so we knew what to expect. No hot water in the bathroom Lights arent bright enough. I don't recomend for sleeping in thursdsay, friday and saturday. There is very loud music. It is not possible to sleep, talk or do anything because of noise up to 3am!!! But in another days, it could be good accomodation in US saloon style. It's a bar. Loud music when they have any event there. If you want/need to sleep, it's really bad. The room and the bathroom were very dirty. And the reception is a mess. It also is the balcony of the bar. dirty shower curtain and mouldy fridge, bed not the most comfortable.

Although please note that noise disturbances will occur and guests wanting quiet, peaceful accommodation are recommended to book elsewhere.
