It feels like being at home, while being away. The staff (the owner) is very helpful and you get practically individual attention from him. Whenever you need anything, he is there. I thoroughly enjoyed the owner's hospitality - very friendly, welcoming and informative. The studio was ample for four people, clean, well equipt and had personal touches like fresh flowers, making it a little like home. I strongly recommend Tulipa. We booked expecting a room in a guest house and were stunned to find a beautifully decorated and comfortabe room overlookingt the Amstel river. In addition we also had exclusive use of the whole floor leading tou own coffee ad tea making machine and shower and changing room. Really freindly welcome by Ken. Very centrally placed close to the flower

Our family room was very large with a double bed, a single bed and two very comfortable sofas;an additional bonus was that you could slide double doors across to separate into two individual bedrooms. The weather outside was cold but the heating was on 24 hours with adjustable radiators.

the house is the side of the canal easy to walk anywhere in Amsterdam plus great friendly welcome when you get back,the room looking over canal,just beautiful, bed very good, room full of antique pieces great place,the family are just superb hosts,you are treated like there extend family,we will vist, again and again, never get tired of the house.
