  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. It was also in a perfect location - not too close to the city center, but placed close enough to walk to the bars in 12 min. - Nice location easy access to everywhere.   The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !

They also let me bring my dog, and were very nice to him as well :) The location was great, it was very near many of the main museums, within walking distance, and the tram stops were about 5 min walk away. Our room had a balcony so that was nice. Room had a safe to lock up valuables which was free, and - Quiet location and spacious room: it is definitely worth staying slightly outside the city centre for these comforts. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).
