  We stayed 2 nights there, there was an overbooking so they had to place us in a triple room rather than a twin bed one but nobody bothered us there, it was just me and my husband in the room.   The place of the boat is excellent, the owner was really lovely and helpful. However don't expect luxury - it's a little boat not a 5 star hotel after all. So the single cabin is really tiny, but clean. And though the breakfast was more than adequate for me, the others might not like it. The bed is around 1mtr from the ground which gives plenty of room underneath it. There is free wifi internet (speed is ok) but its only available in the public area.

  The hostel staff were really amazing, they are always willing to answer your concerns in a friendly manner. Amsterdam is famous for its houseboats, and Intersail Hostel - It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting!   The location of the hostel is perfect for night-clubs, sight-seeing and shopping-lovers, all the staff is very friendly, and the conditions are not bad for a hostel, even if you have to share room with 11 other people.
