  good location (if you have a rented bike), comfortable, clean room for a good price, it was nice to have a computer with internet down stairs - Nice service, nice clean room. beautiful house and view. We enjoy our time there a lot.

The guest service agents and restaurant staff were friendly. Very interesting European hotel with a lot of character. Room and bed were comfortable with excellent housekeeping services every day. Lug... τι λέει ο κόσμος » gage check room was available to store my luggage since I arrived early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

Vary easily accessible by tram from the centralstation. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Great experience - I stayed in this hotel 3 years ago, and last week. The rooms are renovated and I had double room even had a reservation for single. Hotel staff is great- I could check out at noon instead of 11. You can't find better 3 stars hotel for such money and location in Amsterdam

  The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. An elevator is a real bo... τι λέει ο κόσμος » nus in a typical dutch building with steep staircases! - As we only spend one night in Amsterdam (attending a concert), there is not much to say, possitive or negative. We wanted to stay in the centre of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !
