The city centre is only 20 minutes away by public transport. All hotel guests (from the age of 15) can access the sauna and swimming pool for free (bathing suits compulsory in both areas).

Very good rates, spacious rooms and added benefit of use of the Sauna and Swimming pools. The staff was very friendly and willing to help for any questions. Thehotel was of nice standard and situated beautifully close to the park.For all the facilities they could offer I would suggest to anyone tostay at least a weekend to make good use of their stay.The rooms were clean and tidy, and regularly checked. The spa and swimming pool, open to Hotel guests, are excellent facilities -- I went swimming and used the sauna every day, and it was a great antidote for the stress of going to a conference and trekking all over Amsterdam. But guests should note that, contrary to the video ads for the hotel which show people in swimsuits using the spa and pool, it is actually a clothing-free (nudist) facility.Clean room, friendly staff, good equipped fit centre, sauna. swiming pool, sauna and staff. Swimming pool is axelent!. The fitness facilities. Close to the sport centre. I very much liked the leisure centre and its nude policy. At first I wasn't aware of this and arrived into the steam room with cycling shorts on. I was quickly advised to remove them! Shortly after I loved the idea and spent most of my time in the pool, sauna and jacuzzi while being nude. I would really recommend this hotel for sports enthusiasts and the leisure centre - for those open minded.sauna, fitness. The locations. Location to the Airport. Hotel staff. Comfortable location and large rooms with space for the kids. I know Amstelpark from being a member of the fitness center as well as a squash and tennis player there. Swimming pool and sauna facility was free, however using other facilities was chargerable this was not clear when I booked.Main reason for me to book this hotel was the presence of swimming pool.I arrived to ams late in the evening and had only night between fligthsand I had no necessity to go to city center. Finally I've got anopportunity to swim but it was only one benefit from this place. Thisplace is not really hotel. Don't be misleaded! T Amstelpark is a goodSports Centre with 6 rest rooms but not a hotel. Discounted use of the Gym, Tennis and Squash facilities was nice, also the ambience of the location.Nice sport facilities. comfort. Nothing specific, only breakfast was ok although 7.30 for breakfast is very late. The sauna and the Amstelpark. nice environment - close to the wood. direct acces to sport facilities. It's horrible! Service is terrible. They charged me for the breakfastand I could not have it because the restaurant was closed. The receptionopens only at 8:00. it's not a hotel is a sporting center with somerooms! Wont stay there anymore. And would not recommend it. The restaurant is situated in the middle of all the squash rooms. Forbreakfast it was ok as it was quiet and did not smell, but for dinner wechoose to go somewhere else.the eating arrangements. Too much tennis activity going on, and difficult to get there by public transportation (because it's actually inside the park -- the Amsterdamse Bos). Everybody I asked assumed it was in Amstelpark, which is actually several kilometers away, so the directions people gave me took me the wrong way. Finally I got there by a taxi with a GPS system that enabled the driver to find it.a bit far from the centre (more than 1 hour walk), but only about 20 minutes by bus, hotel under reconstruction,. Limited choice at breakfast. you can hear the neighbors. The current construction work means that the place is currently disordered and the work starts early in the morning which is not conducive to rest. This will continue until Spring 2009.The beds were a little uncomfortable. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. There is no safe in the room or at reception. You can clearly hear your neighbours. no hairdryer, the extra bed is not convenient at all, there are doors between rooms and although they are closed some people tryed to open from the next door. It is not good that the payment has to be done at check in so later no possibility to add the breakfast to the room charge. The breakfast in the restaurant is very poor for 10 EUR. Also it is very bad that the sp and sauna for nudist.It was a basic hotel attached to a leisure facility, as long as you knot this there are no issues. Very unfriendly personnel at the reception due to the fact that they are not Hotel professionals but receptionists at the sport center. Very non polite. It was not possible to receive 2 keys for the room although we were a family with kids.Internet access from your room. Refurbishing, not the best period to go there,. The rooms were not meant for business people the hotel is for sports people only there is ofcause lots of equipment for atlethics but it's deffently not for business use. Hotels should be obliged to give to your site day-to-day informationabout all reconstructions of their facilities. This place for examplewas under reconstruction with very durty floor in the corridor betweenchanging room and swimming pool. The staff, although nice, were confused by basic questions. Major facilities advertised for the hotel on your website were not available. Direction information was confusing to the point that I had to get a taxi when, if properly informed, one bus would have taken me precisely there. Funny staff who locked the door and left us on the street in the night and could not find our data during check out time.The room was big but empty and cheap. In the bathroom was no shampoo or soap. The TV in the room was very small you had to sit real close to see something. The bar was more a sportsbar than a bar for a hotel. It is a sports centre who has rooms for a night but this is not a hotel in my opinion sorry. The insanity of the room, the noise in the morning, the price which isvery expensive for a poor room. basic rooms - with the construction works going on, the whole building is a mess. Guaranteed wake-up at 6 am because of the construction works, trucks with running engine under the window etc - ongoing till april 09 ... Rooms would benefit from a refurbishing too.. bad service, bad personnel, untidy rooms.

Located in a fantastic area, on the edge of the "Amsterdamse Bos", you will find multifunctional Sportscentre Amstelpark. This complex offers numerous sporting facilities like tennis, squash, fitness and swimming. Our guests can use the pool, sauna and Turkish steam bath free of charge. Swimming wear is compulsory for the sauna and swimming pool. We cater to business people regarding meetings, conferences and seminars. The private guest will find all the comforts in our hotel.
Our 8 rooms are fully equipped with private shower, toilet, TV and telephone, we also have 2 Deluxe twins with bath, shower and toilet.
All rooms have air conditioning.
We have an extensive lunch- and dinner menu, prepared by our chefs who have years of international experience.
Important information to guests
Minimum age for use of swimming pool: 15 years, on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays closed at 19.00 hours. Please note; bathing suites are compulsory in the sauna and swimming pool.
The a la carte restaurant closes at 20:00 on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.
Please note: Check-in on Monday until Friday until 23:00 hours.
Check in on 30,31 Dec 08 and 01 Jan 09 must be before 19.00 hours!
