Alkmaar Station Apartments are conveniently located opposite the main train station, which is a great starting point for some serious city hopping. Each bright apartment just simply invites you to put your feet up and relax.
In the morning you can prepare your own breakfast in the kitchenette that comes with practical equipment. Afterwards, hop on a train and go to Amsterdam Central Station in only 37 minutes to visit Rijksmuseum or Anne Frank House. You can even go shopping there to fulfill your shopaholic needs.
If you want something closer to home, Alkmaar has many activities to offer. Visit Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar for example, which is only a 10-minute walk away. While you are at it, definitely do not forget to visit the famous cheese museum Het Hollands Kaasmuseum that is situated 15 minutes away by foot. You can also rent a boat to explore Alkmaar from the water.
Once you are done exploring the city, go grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants situated a short stroll from your apartment. Before going back, stop by at the supermarket located 550 metres away to get some snacks and drinks for later in the evening when enjoying your favourite TV shows in the living room.
