We actually walked from the Port, as we come to main road we crossed & went to our left about 200 mtr's where there is a small uphill street (on the other side of what appears to be a car parking area)called Rue Kaa as you walk up you will see a large sign with arrow pointing to Hotel Continental, follow the direction, (It may seem a little daunting to the uninitiated, lol) at next sign DAR RIF have their own sign to follow. It took us about 10 min's max from Port. We loved our stay at DAR .
όλα τα σχόλια » Typical old Moroccan building in the Medina - lovely Moroccan designs, beautifully decorated - room very clean - sitting area right outside our room, television and books in English and French available, complimentary mint tea, (when we arrived and again when we were waiting to leave) breakfast delivered to our room (without asking) and was lovely - friendly, kind, helpful staff. Ideally placed for the Medina and sea front. Able to leave bags after check-out. The owner was very friendly and. What an absolute treat. I was dropped off by a taxi at night and I thought this couldn't be it. It seemed like there's no way a beautiful hotel could be in there! Don't let the area fool you. It is beautiful, clean, and the staff were the nicest people. All these hotels advertise that they have air conditioning, but so far I haven't seen any. This hotel had a fan and it was just fine. I would definitely stay again. Dar Rif was a lovely place. It was beautifully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. The room was small, but suited our needs perfectly, and was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom across the hallway was very clean, and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and very kind. We also loved being able to hear the call to prayer from our room. Staff were excellent. The hotel owner has a small restaurant which I reccomend. The terrace is fantastic and the breakfast which is served there is also really good. Room was good for the price with a good shower. Location pretty good. It was in the old town, and its style captured the feeling of the city. Although there was little room in the bedroom, the lounge area was pleasant for the two days we did not have to share it. Breakfasts were excellent. Very cute place to stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, providing us with tea and biscuits on arrival and after a day of touring. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was nice on the rooftop. The building and the decoration were beautiful. Everything was very clean. The owner were really nice and friendly, he prepared us breakfast at 6a.m when we were leaving. And a nice view from the rooftop. Staff was very helpful and upgraded my room significantly. The breakfast was fine, varied, and nutritious, plus big. They gave good tips about the medina and city, plus a clear map to follow. very nice and helpful staff! the young girl and young man serving in the reception were really friendly and helpful. thanks to them!. The bed was very comfortable and the nice touches in the room like scented bags on the bed head. The breakfast on the terrace was lively. Place is truely beautiful and perfectly placed. The staff is extremely generous and welcoming. We enjoyed the cosy and small room. The breakfast on terrace offers a nice view of the city. Great location and very friendly staff, great sitting on the roof! Three bed room is great!. clean, quiet, nice place to stay, excellent helpfull staff, i felt like at home, thanks!. Friendly receptionist. Short walking to ferry. The staff was very kind and extremely helpfull. Room was a little on the small side, then you can expect that in a lot of these guest houses & Riads But not a deterant. Nothing. I was pleased with everything. We loved everything. Room smelt cause of the drains in the bathroom. Would be ok but there was no door just a curtain to the bathroom. We were cold; there was no heating (the air conditioner was permanently on 'cool') and the open design of the building meant it was even colder - as well as very noisy. Fellow guests ate hot food and left their rubbish; the rooms are not serviced so I had to tidy it up. That there was only a plastic curtain separating bedroom from bathroom meant privacy was impossible. The level of lighting - as in almost everywhere we stayed - was too low to read by. Internet not working in bedroom. It was a bit hard to find the hotel. We had to change two taxis as in the city seems to be another Rif hotel. rough area, hard to find it out, but at this price you can't complain ;-). Nothing to point, fair enough regarding the price.
