Location was perfect. Near to the city center and to the marketplace.
Easy to get a cab near to the train station but make sure to negotiate.
Would recommend to check out wikitravel. Clean rooms and first day
cookies as a welcome in our room including a bottle of water. Breakfast
is ok but nothing special make sure to eat some Moroccan pancakes. T

Its a traditionell arabic hotel with the traditionell arabic friendlyness and service. There is no alcohol and no smoking in the hotel and its all about serving the guest and making him feel like at home. We loved this hotel and especcially his employees. Tho hotel is near to many sight seeings and nice places and the pool is big enough to do a good swimm, great hotel for a good price, we loved it.

slept in in Morocco - really lovely staff who could not do enough.
Superbly located close to the main station in an upmarket district
with good cafes and patisseries and some designer boutiques. Gorgeous

The receptionist and most of the staff spoke quite good english.. The hotel although a modern building had lots of traditional mooriish style fitments...i.e. lovely wooden decorated ceilings,, carved doors and patterned tile floors.

this is a typical city hotel. The glass of tea and a pastry on arrival
was welcome, and car parking was easy. Clean, comfortable, and an
excellent buffet breakfast by the pool, which sadly we didn't have

The room was as described and everthing worked as it should.
We arrived late, around 10.30pm, and we're told by reception that the restaurants in the area would be closed. Well, we walked outside and on the corner was a very busy simple style fish restaurant. It was really different and threw us straight into the local scene. Great choice of fish at very reasonable prices!

Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides.

The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great. The reception from the staff was the best thing and gave us a very good first impression .. the hotel is 30 minutes away walking from the old city .. my bedroom was clean and the bathroom was clean too -
I had to catch a very early train, this hotel is really near it. And the staff is there 24 hours, so it's very convenient.

Location is very good (although difficult to reach, best is to ask the hotel to pick you up at the airport the first day and then you will learn the way). The staff is very friendly, and breakfast home made. Very nice house, and definetly a very good place to stay, really quiet but in the very middle of the Medina.
