my stay in Dar sohane was really lovely. I went with my famiy for three days and we all appreciated the riad, the owner brahim who is just awesome and very friendly, and the calm and peaceful atmosphere which makes a perfect combination with the bubling Jamaa fenaa square.

We stayed in Maison du Tresor -- the annexe: Brahim and Adil were very kind and attentive. This is a tradional Moroccan house, with rooms around a central courtyard, decorated tastefully with traditional Moroccan and some modern treasures -- charming. The White Room was lovely -- simple, quirky, with its own private roof terrace. And piping hot water in en suite. This was excellent value and only 5 minutes walk from central square.

The service is second to none. The rooms are elegant and comfortable with everything that you need. Hot water, extra radiators, toiletries, safe deposit box. The common lounge is very cosy and the manager prepares excellent food that is served in there. Roof terrace is a great place to relax. Location is perfect, central, yet quiet. Excellent location and amazing staff!!! My boyfriend and I stayed in this riad after coming from a 3 day trip from the desert, we were exhausted and the staff was great at making us relax and feel comfortable. Smiles and mint tea when you arrive, what else do you need?! You're 3 min away walking to Djemma el Fna!

The Riad Bamileke is like an oasis in the middle of a chaotic city. It is located next to the main square but once you step inside you forget about the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. An amazing Riad!!
The rooms are all beautiful. The staff is very friendly and Frederique (the owner) is a wonderful host who even went to pick us up at the Jemma el Fna Square because we got lost the first day.
Additionally, as it was low season, she gave us a free extra room to be more comfortable.
Just wonderful, I hope to go back someday ... I really recommend it 100%
