my stay in Dar sohane was really lovely. I went with my famiy for three days and we all appreciated the riad, the owner brahim who is just awesome and very friendly, and the calm and peaceful atmosphere which makes a perfect combination with the bubling Jamaa fenaa square.

The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.

Everything was excellent. Friendly and kind staff; rooms and hotel facilities extremely clean; Ideal location: just 3 minutes' walk from Jeema el Fna and not noisy at night. We also prepared our own tajine using the facilities provided by the Hotel, and had a magical dinner on the terrace with views of Kutoubia and Mosquee. We will definetely repeat this experience.

We stayed in Maison du Tresor -- the annexe: Brahim and Adil were very kind and attentive. This is a tradional Moroccan house, with rooms around a central courtyard, decorated tastefully with traditional Moroccan and some modern treasures -- charming. The White Room was lovely -- simple, quirky, with its own private roof terrace. And piping hot water in en suite. This was excellent value and only 5 minutes walk from central square.

This stunning riad is 2 minutes from the big square, Jma el Fenaa. It truly is

My boyfriend and I stayed in this riad after coming from a 3 day trip from the desert, we were exhausted and the staff was great at making us relax and feel comfortable. The Riad Bamileke is like an oasis in the middle of a chaotic city. It is located next to the main square but once you step inside you forget about the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh.
