Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides.

The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great. This was an excellent hotel to spend a night before a morning flight back to the UK. Facilities were all you would expect from a four star hotel but at a fraction of the price. Its a traditionell arabic hotel with the traditionell arabic friendlyness and service. There is no alcohol and no smoking in the hotel and its all about serving the guest and making him feel like at home. We loved this hotel and especcially his employees. Tho hotel is near to many sight seeings and nice places and the pool is big enough to do a good swimm, great hotel for a good price, we loved it.

Location was perfect. Near to the city center and to the marketplace.
Easy to get a cab near to the train station but make sure to negotiate.
Would recommend to check out wikitravel. Clean rooms and first day

The hotel is centrally located so the Old City and the new city are both just walking distance. The hotel was comfortable and very clean. We had no issues. Highly recomended. -
Location is great for Clubs and Casino. You can walk to the main
square in 10 min. Taxi cabs are everywhere. Very nice to stay outside
of the Medina.

Staff have been extremely polite and helpful. Facilities new and veryclean. Location quite in the right place, neither too close nor to farfrom the medina and close to the nouvelle ville. Quiet room - the style of the room furniture and the location of the hotel.

Located in Guilez a 10 minute bus ride for 40pence up to the old town, take the number 1 bus to Jma el Fna.
Hotel friendly and as decribed. Pool area full but no nonsense over sun beds, the pool attendant made sure everyone got a place in the sun.
Close to all local amenities, check out the railway station, really great building.

Everything about the hotel itself.....very central for visiting Marrakesh. Airport bus no 19 stops very close to hotel (very cheap compared to taxi). Have stayed here on three occasions. Buffet breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Good swimming pool.
