Casa Lila is amazing! It felt like a real treat. They upgraded us to a
bigger room at no charge, and the Rose suite was phenomenal! I loved the
bright colors and the design of Casa Lila, and how it felt both
old/antique and new/modern at the same time. In the room was the
most amazing bath, part of the old Hammam, we were told. The room was

The reception staff was very helpful providing a map and locations with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast on the terrace was served by a calming and attentive member of staff and varied each morning. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and quiet. Located in the Medina this riad is close to everything. The terrace area was good for sunbathing and there were loungers on another floor too. Plenty of places to sit comfortably within the riad.

This is a stylish, very clean place in a convenient location. The owners
were extremely friendly, helpful and organized. They gave me all the
information I needed at front, and they were always available to answer
any additional questions I had. The room was very nice, too. Spacious
for a single room, so I was able to relax very well. Thanks to the
wonderful owners and this wonderful riad, I really enjoyed my time in
Essaouira. Also, their breakfast was fantastic!!!

Our 7 days stay in The Chems Bleu was amazing. Room ,we had Dunette Double Room, was clean (they cleaned it every day + towels changing) and with beautiful view to the ocean. This place is a little gem, right in the heart of the medina in an ideal location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the room right on the top floor with the roof terrace. It is the smallest room in the riad but still plenty of space. The bathroom is small but adequate with a fantastic powerful shower with plenty of hot water. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay that is well-decorated in Moroccan designs, then this is it! The check-in was very easy even though the staff did not speak too much English. The staff gave us a map of the medina and instructions for how to get to some of the sights.

They provided us with a hot water bottle. Wish they had given us two. - It's location, easy access to the beach and port.The staff were friendly and helpful. It was good to be able to sit out on the terrace in the sunshine, although there was healthy competition for the sun beds!

From the first moment we arrived the owner and his staff made us feel very welcome and we really felt at home immediately.
The decoration and service in this Ryad is fantastic down to the very last little detail.
We got shown a second alternative room which turned out to be a suite without asking or any extra cost.

Ryad Watier was an amazing B&B. Large, spacious and nicely-decorated
rooms! Jean Gabriel, the owner, was so outgoing, friendly and
accommodating. He was very helpful when my boyfriend had a fever.
Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful and dinners are top-
quality. Essaouira was our favorite city, although a bit more touristy
than other Moroccan cities, the beach has great watersports and lots of
activities and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our time at Ryad

The roof terrace had an amazing view & a nice chill out area in the
shade. The room was nice, simple & clean. One thing to note is
coming from the beach you have to go into the medina to get to it (not
quite clear on the map) but then it is in a good location 2mins from the
Main Street. -

The location was good and it was very easy to find the hotel. The staff
was very friendly - they gave us very accurate information about the
town (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). We also liked the breakfast
on the nice roof terrace. And the wifi network was much better then in
our 5-star hotel in Marrakech!! It was very good value for money!

The rooms were very comfortable, cleaned daily and the bathroom was well positioned with a walk in shower. The roof terrace where breakfast was served provided good views over the medina, whil ethe breakfast itself was one excellent. The staff were all friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. A great stay.

one of the few Riads who have a big suite, we were 4 adults and the zuleica suite was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 1 big bathroom.
the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is great with a slight view of the sea from the roof. The roof terrace is beautiful for breakfast, afternoon coffee or suntanning.

The Palazzo Desdemona is a funky old building with a lot of charm and mystery. The rooms were huge and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The location was perfect for exploring Essaouira - Location is perfect. Nice 19th century building.
