Great hotel. Big room (even the chepaest one). Excellent location close to the river. Lots of food option within two minutes walk (go left to the hotel for upscale dining along the river and right for cheap local food). I liked the breakfast served and also the view from the room and the staff is friendly. Even the bell boy was very helpful, running up to the room on the 19th floor to retrieve my son's drinking bottle.
όλα τα σχόλια » I like the night activity during my stay at Kinta Riverfront Hotel. There is some nice restaurant beside the river and a good environment. Besides, the room was very comfortable. Friendly staff at reception. Security staff at apartment block esp najib. Our elderly brother was lost and he helped to locate him at 5:30 am on 18 dec:). Its location next to the river where its banks were litted up at night. Good night out for the family at its doorstep. The location with its vastness of space around it. No hustle bustle, just space to relax, and feel good. Behaviour of the staff, especially at the front office Food at the Chinese restaurant. Absolutely delightful hotel. Great presentation, wonderful staff, sensational views. I like the clean and neat room...the buffet menus also...the location is also great. Breakfast are complete n variety, esp with nuts and yogurt. Services arecawesome!!. quite comfortable in the hotel, spacious and my family like the room very much. The swimming pool rocks!! The room is clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. This hotel is not in Ipoh town (but reachable) so the environment is very serene and peaceful with a very good view of the Kinta River. Western food available at buffett, good size clean rooms with modern facilities even if the quality of fittings are questionable. (Shower mixer took some time to work, room door had to be pushed to close). It is new. Superior room very big and spacious. Nice Led-light view of river front at night. The room is generally alright for business trip but not family holidays. Small, you don't have enough luggage space, sofa chairs and socket points. Strangely, you have a standing lamp in the room but there is no socket point nearby. Hotel would be comfortable and nice if they would clean it....Everything is DIRTY!!!!Rooms, gym, pool...EVERYTHING!really disgusting. Chineese restaurant very expensive. Breakfast a bit weak although lot of choices (but everything tasteless). Service during breakfast is rather chaotic. Nothing displeased my family and I at this hotel. The swimming pool is too small to accommodate for many people. No shopping area within walking distance!. Little else. Breakfast at the Palong Caffe could have been better. Calls were transferred to IT department but no one pick up the phone. Called the reception again trying to tell them no one pick up the phone but they keep transferring the call to IT department. Maybe it was on purpose to make me frustrated and gave up. The carpet in the room is not clean enough, it's totally not suitable for Muslim to pray inside. Lot more improvement for a **** star hotel. Very thin towels. swimming pool look like so small but its ok.. Unpleasant smell at the hotel lobby. Nothing really. Slightly on the outskirt of Ipoh City. Crowded breakfast venue. nothing. its ok. The facility in the bath room is badly designed. The hanger bracket for towel is loosen and going to fall down. The water tap and basin are out of position. The water tap make the table wet all the time. There was no kettle in room. Wifi connection is very poor, unable to connect at all. Breakfast buffet's selection was very disappointing, very limited choices and the food is tasteless. Since this is my first time staying here, so I do not like the fact that the the front desk arranged me at Room 106 level 9 which is situated directly in front of the hotel's elevator's area. So it was quite noisy and uncomfortable. For Westerners in Ipoh it's always going to be a struggle. I dont think you can be too fussy, it is good value for money. Breakfast low quality. Worse coffee ever, tasteless and worse than normal budget hotel. No supply of soapdish in toilet. No spoon in room for coffee making facilities, only supply plastic stirer. Quality of room furnishing very low. Outdated design Cleanliness can be improved. slow front office, room not clean, got ants on my bed, bathroom rainshower not working, bathtub missing shut & no bath towel in the room at all!!. Staffs wasn't exactly hotel-friendly F&B staff were yelling & shouting at each other during breakfast at the restaurant. Wifi connection not constant.. alley is a bit dark, usage of card to travel within the building is a hassle. There are no small table putting bags, swimming pools normal but not very clean. The furniture inside the room is run down. Toilet towel hanger coming loose. Towel dirty and i found a few strands of long hair on it. Room is dusty. WiFi is not free of charge as advertised. The waitress swept the left over food on to the floor in the coffee house during breakfast and not enough food. Most of the trays were empty before 9.30am. Restriction on using the facilities; i.e. swiming pool at 5th flr is not allow to be use by guest staying in the appartment suite. Poor customer service. Hair dryer were missing from rooms. Called housekeeping and reception twice. Waited for half an hour, still did not get the hair dryer. Breakfast service were disorganized. I dont like the city its too quiet especially at night. no slippers provide, no hairdryer. Cleaness and receptionist working very slow, carpet dirty and no slipper provide. only rom aircon not cold. That the staff can park outside the hotel but guests have to park across the road or in the basement. A/C in Master Bedroom was not working properly. Luckily, was able to blow cool air at night. Initially in the afternoon, was blowing warm air. There's no complimentary coffee & tea. There's only one remote control for air-con & tv for the whole apartment. The shower, there is not enough water pressure, (staying at Level 17) therefore the water control for hot and cold is on the extreme, is not a comfortable shower. This is the dirtiest hotel ever.Thanks God I booked one night only.I Extended my stay in Ipoh but changed hotel.The housekeeping staff is the worst in the world I guess!.
