The rooms are very clean. The idea of not having a lot of carpeting is good as the room doesn't feel dusty.
No cigarette smell which is great.
Love the shower.
The air-conditioning is great. Very cold.
The honey ginger drink at the lobby is refreshing. good idea as Penang is hot in the afternoons.

Location is also very good as it is near all the eating and shopping places. -
1.the front desk girls are polite & wonderful.
2.all staffs are friendly, nice & helpful.
3.room is great, comfortable & very quiet.
4.breakfast is great with wide varieties.
5.used to stay here all the time, still prefer to stay here.

Very relaxed and easy all over, friendly and helpfull personnel. Room was clean and functional. - Good sized room even though it was only a "studio". Nice view. Staff were polite, well presented and welcoming.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most notably, they were honest. I was sure I had lost my 2k spectacle but they found it. They were very alert too. They would assist you anytime. The room was excellent. The environment was a thing to remember. The food were 1st class. The service was very fast and acccurate. We got everything we need. - Cl

This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu

Visited the Hard Rock Caf -
The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying.
The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it.
