  We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, Kyoto, hiroshima, Osaka & back via Helsinki. Throughout Japan we were impressed by the politeness, friendliness & cleanliness & we are sure all hotels at all levels meet the same standards. Metro stations next to the hotel & easy access to th - We spent one night at this hotel. Great location - close to the A-bomb dome and Peace Park, Hiroshima Castle and shops. Staff were so friendly and efficient. I asked for a room high up with a view of the castle (and got it). Corner room with 270 degree views. It was magic and the room was spacious compared to anything else we had stayed at in Japan. We didn't eat at the hotel - but found places close by for dinner and breakfast.

  The Grand Prince Hiroshima is definitely a mixed bag. The rooms offer breathtaking views, the onsen is very chilled out and nice, and there's a ferry directly to Miyajima (one of the very best days we spent in Japan was on that lovely island). Direct access to Miyajima Island by boat (though more expensive than train and ferry option from downtown). 3.
